Artisan gelato maker creates premium quality gelato from locally sourced products and delivers to restaurants, hotels and special events. Recipes were once jotted on pieces of paper, product labels produced haphazardly and financials recorded in various documents and spreadsheets.
A new solution was developed to manage customers, orders, products, ingredients and recipes – from receiving orders to production, invoicing and finally to delivery. Production staff have daily and weekly views for upcoming orders with the ability to change recipes and add notes. With a tap on a mobile device staff can create product labels, packing slips (with customer signatures) and invoices while on the road. Financials are automatically uploaded to the cloud for access by accounting staff. Reports are available to track and manage ingredients, supplier orders and chart monthly revenues.
